We have taken every precaution to ensure that your online shopping experience is a safe one. This means that we have installed our shopping cart on a secure server, with a security certificate, which employs Secure Socket Layers, or SSL protocol, to authenticate our identity and encrypt your payment and shipping information. Most browsers display a "Secure" graphic, either a lock (in the case of Microsoft Internet Explorer) or a solid key (Netscape) in the status bar to notify you that you are ordering over a secure connection. Another way to know that you browsing a secure page is to see the address line of your browser. Anytime it starts with 'https' instead of 'http' you are viewing a page located on a secure server. Shopping over a connection secured in this way is as safe as handing your credit card to a waiter in a restaurant - even safer, perhaps, because your credit card information goes directly to a merchant account to be processed automatically, without human intervention.

Cookies
Our shopping cart, like many others, uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file delivered to your computer, usually to help your browser remember information that will help you save time when placing your order. Many e-commerce sites, such as Amazon.com and other e-commerce giants, rely on cookies to enhance the shopping experience.
Unless you have cookies disabled, our shopping cart will place two cookies: One associates you with your shopping cart, and expires three weeks after your visit. The other reminds the cart of your mailing and shipping address, if you provided them, the next time you visit. It expires December 30th of the next calendar year.
We realize that some people don't like the idea of a file, no matter how small, being delivered to their computer. As a result, we have done our best to build a shopping cart that is enhanced, but not reliant, on cookies. Our site will work even for those wh have cookies disabled, unless they are placing an order from a large company with a firewall / proxy server and someone else at that company, also with cookies disabled, is placing an order at the exact same time. The chances of this happening are slim. But in that case, your browser must have cookies enabled in order to "remember" the order throughout the checkout process.
